IU World's Fare

Join us at the IU World’s Fare – the university’s premier international event! Experience authentic ethnic foods from across the globe as you sample a diverse variety of delicious, traditional dishes. Meet people from around the world and enjoy regional art, dance, and music. Student groups prepare interactive exhibits and diverse performances to celebrate their home-country’s unique culture.

Admission is free and open to the public.
Food tickets are $5 each and include 8 samples. IU students get one free ticket with a valid Campus Access Card.

At the 9th annual IU World's Fare, visitors will be greeted by world-renowned guitarists Daniel Duarte and Petar Jankovic. This year 17 international student groups will join in the festivities. Each group creates a colorful booth that showcases its country/region. Many are designed with creative ways for you to interact with them. Mingle with the students and learn more about their rich cultures. Enjoy exciting performances featuring traditional dance and music from around the world!

OIS and Union Board co-host the IU World's Fare. Don't miss the largest event celebrating International Education Week at IU Bloomington. 

World's Fare Cookbooks

Each year student groups submit traditional, authentic recipes that are served at the IU World's Fare. Discover authentic ethnic dishes you love and recreate them at home with the OIS World's Fare Cookbook! Make your own beignets, party pies, Kashmiri pulao, General Tso's Chicken, and more.
