International Services Has Moved to Room 221 of the Poplars Building
The Office of International Services (OIS) has moved from its Franklin Hall and Leo R. Dowling International Center
locations to Room 221 Poplars.
Poplars Building
2nd Floor, Room 221
With an international student and visiting scholar population of more than 6,500, the move of all staff in the Office of International Services to Poplars has brought essential programs and services for international students and scholars at Indiana University together in one convenient campus location, including:
- International Admissions
- New Student and Scholar Orientation
- Student and Scholar Advising
- Programs and Events
We are excited about the opportunities we will have to even further integrate our services, and provide a more seamless experience as students and scholars have need to interact with various members of our staff throughout their time at Indiana University.
The new OIS suite of offices in Poplars includes some meeting rooms that are available for smaller group events previously offered in the International Center, such as event planning meetings, and international student association executive team meetings. Other long-standing programs and events will continue to be offered at a variety of visible campus locations, and as a result, will hopefully help further integrate international students within the campus community and facilitate greater interaction with domestic students. Staff will continue to work closely with student leaders to assist with event planning, and look forward to taking our programs to areas of campus frequented by a wider audience. For additional information visit our Programs and Events page.
We look forward to having you visit our new location, encourage you to actively participate in a program or event of interest—and bring a friend!
