Student Central is your one-stop shop for taking care of student business. Whether you’re a current student who needs to register for classes or pay your bill, or you’re a graduate who needs a transcript, we have you covered.
- Career Services
IU helps you prepare for your career, from assisting you in identifying your ideal career path to coaching you during your job search. IU’s career services offices will also help you take advantage of opportunities to get meaningful experience while you are in college, so you will stand out in the job market.
As an international student, you can also use the site to search for on-campus jobs. However, you are not eligible for work-study opportunities.

IU Bloomington provides students, faculty, and staff with high-quality, on-campus child care.
- Disability services
IU ensures equal academic opportunities for all of its students. The university’s disability services offices provide students and instructors with helpful services and resources, including note-taking help and accommodations for tests.
- Legal services
If you are an IU Bloomington student, you are entitled to free, confidential legal help through IU’s Student Legal Services (SLS). SLS helps students with landlord issues, divorces, and more.
- Libraries
IU has one of the best academic research library systems in North America. At IU Bloomington, you can access more than 7.8 million books in more than 900 languages, as well as more than 800 databases, 60,000 electronic journals, and 815,000 electronic books.

IU’s campus police work with local police forces to ensure your safety.

At IU, you will have access to cutting-edge technology—computers, high-speed Internet service (including wireless), free software, and more. Information technology offices on each campus also provide tech support.
