Joanna has been active in the field of international education for over 20 years, including advising international students and international scholars.

She taught English in Bangkok, Thailand. She has traveled to Barcelona, the Netherlands, Germany, South Korea, Ecuador, and Vietnam. When away from the office, Joanna spends time with her husband and four children.
