Living in a safe community means you're free to explore all of the incredible opportunities for fun  outside the classroom. Our International Student Life programming brings IU's international community together with tailored events throughout the semester. 

Your future secured

In the Class of 2023, 95% of graduates were employed full time or part time, entered volunteer service or the military, or continued their education within six months of graduation.

Graduates earned full-time jobs in 27 countries and 42 states, including Washington D.C. These employers included high-profile companies like Amazon, Crowe LLP, Cummins, Eli Lilly and Company, Epic Systems, EY, Google, Macy's, Oracle, Priceline, Roche, Rolls-Royce, and Salesforce.

A beautiful, historic campus

Pretty and proud! IU's campus is consistently voted among the most beautiful campuses in the United States. When you're here, it's easy to see why. 

Storied limestone architecture, cobbled brick paths, stunning seasonal foliage, and iconic campus landmarks make daily walks to class a visual treat. Find natural beauty, shady spots, and quiet corners as you shape your own piece of IU's long history.

Of course, we're not all about the past. State-of-the-art facilities like Luddy Hall and the Mies Van Der Rohe building provide a sharp and modern contrast for forward-thinkers.

Why IU: I moved from Bangkok to Australia before settling in Bloomington at IU. I chose here because the Office of International Services gave me personal meetings with faculty and staff. 

At IU: Within six months, I felt at home. IU really wanted me to succeed. The international community, my Luddy Consulting club, and my internship at EY [a global professional services firm] gave me the power to be my best possible self.

After IU: I now work for EY as a technology consultant—exactly what I studied for. IU and my professors really set me up for success.

Why IU: When I decided to continue my education in the United States, the campus resources, orientation, and scholarship opportunities made Indiana University the most attractive place for me. 

At IU: My favorite part of being an IU student is the vibrant diversity. The international community and welcoming environment make campus awesome.

After IU: IU gives me the resources to develop essential skills and gain confidence. I hope to continue my psychology and Portuguese studies to find the right career path.
