Vaccinations and TB Test

Vaccination requirements and tuberculosis test

All Indiana University students are required by state law to present proof of vaccination against various diseases. You should submit your compliance form before you begin classes. You will not be able to register for your second semester until you have done so.

All evidence you submit must be in English. If your documents need to be translated, IU has partnered with Luna Language Services to offer a convenient and affordable option.

COVID-19 vaccine and tuberculosis testing

The U.S. CDC advises that individuals do not have a tuberculosis test for 28 days after a COVID-19 vaccination. Because of this, if you come to campus without a COVID-19 vaccination, make sure you get a TB test before your vaccination.

If you receive any vaccinations at IU while on the IU health insurance plan, the cost will be covered.
